Greetings fellow travellers.
Now before I dig in, I need to post my pre-posting advisory. 😉 …I sometimes meander while writing, trying to get to my point, and sometimes…………………..I drift a lot!
No worries. In ‘keeping my promises’ to you, my future/current friends: I do manage to reach a reasoned “conclusion.”
Second, what I consciously decided not to do this week was to quote Haanel (or Og Mandino) thereby giving you shortcuts to both “wisdom,” and some of the teaching curriculum. For that, you simply need to take the plunge and get in the training! Or you can keep wishing things will get better….
Wisdom, like respect, should be earned, not given. Both are far too valuable to toss around lightly! One does not earn the rank of Black Belt in any form of Martial Arts by training under a Yellow Belt!
If you recall, last week I brought up how very important the attaining of wisdom is for you and your life. Perhaps I did not go “deep” enough, yet I respect that each individual must choose to embark upon their own unique journey, and I do you a HUGE disservice by merely handing you everything for easy consumption, when what I hand you may not be best for you.
How would I know what’s best? How could I ever imagine to know what’s best for you?
Well as luck, fortune, or Divine intervention(s) would have it, I get to really enjoy Week-23’s topic.
Better still…Haanel deals with concise clarity our [Human] relationship to money, to wealth, to our inner truth, and to our Divine calling (my opinion, that last comment). 🙂
I put this earlier on Twitter, giving myself 4 minutes’ break from real work. Enjoy.
My own opinions notwithstanding, 🙂 my [personal] challenge this week is, I could easily “lecture” far too many on the short-comings of their externally-imposed belief systems where those long-held beliefs concern money. However, if you’re here reading this, and if your part of the (wonderful, amazing, inspiring) #MKMMA experience, you’ve either (1) already begun to wrestle to break free from those errant beliefs, or (2) [perhaps] you’ve overcome the false paradigms already and are venturing into real freedom!
With no apologies for the forthcoming observations, it is the “Economist” in me wishing some people invested in their education like they do (time, energy, money) in Facebook, Twitter, Tattoos, piercings, et al.
Have you ever thought about how much some of those works of art loosely cost? I was, and remain astounded after learning how much is spent. I estimate there’s tens-to-hundreds of millions of dollars spent each year.
Sure, there is a virtual “industry” surrounding such, and gainful employment is generally regarded a positive in my book; I’m only (soon) going to make a comparative statement – which you can do whatever you wish with. 😉
For example: I know the son of a long-departed and former business associate who sports some truly beautiful artwork on his back; over $10,000 he spent! …and yet he whines to his parents about always being broke! WOW!
I looked up these (tattoo) costs yesterday (3/20/16) while chasing yet-another Rabbit down the hole…that’s 1 full year’s tuition at Purdue University, room & board included (in-state)! Not opinion: fact.
Now for some of you…don’t get all wound up at me over my comments about tattoos and piercings. If you recall I did specifically mention some are “beautiful.” “Beauty,” however, IS in the eye of the beholder! For me, I’ve seen, and remembered quite vividly from my childhood the Veterans I met who’d returned from WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War sporting ‘tats’ and how, as they aged…well, I’m highly confident those ‘tats’ looked far better 20, 30, 40+ years earlier.
Seeing the long-term results of short-term decisions, the budding “Objectivist” in me knew how to understand “reality.” A is A.
So as this relates directly to money, to wealth, if you recall, last week I let you view and think about this? (More in the next section….)
No one beat me up too badly for that remark, however it is apropos for/in today’s world.
I read (3/18/16) that Carl Jr’s is replacing human “labor” with automated systems. That company is catching all kinds of heck – and they shouldn’t! Why?!?
Carl Jr’s (and Hardy’s) are NOT the first chains to install automated systems, period! McDonald’s and others have been doing the same thing for months! Why the specific targeting? They’re also moving their headquarters to reduce the comparatively high tax burden the overall company faces if they remain where they are…and one politician currently seeking the Presidency thinks an 85% tax rate will help America! Did I mention I’m an Economist…more than a few times in my many posts?
Someone please check his meds!
(I could write an entire book on this subject, but it’s not for this forum!)
But…but…but…what a great idea – the book!
In this evolving world of technology, writing a book is no more difficult (now) than speaking into a microphone…and many have already learned this…!
Think about that, friends. I’ve just giving you a “freebie,” seeds to plant, so you too can someday have your “harvest!” (If your book’s even modestly good, and with a handful of techniques taught in the #MKE, the/your “harvest” may be quite bountiful!)
Internally, if you’ve not guessed by now, I’ve been an entrepreneur first beginning @ age 11. About age 15, that living, breathing, ethical philosophy was placed on hold by demands that I conform to the norms of society…and for decades!
The inner Lion had been caged!
You can’t chain down someone with big dreams…not unless you destroy the most objective “Philosophy of Life:”
When I recently listened to my (purchased, naturally) audio copy of Robert Hollis at another MLM event asking, “Is anybody pissed?”
There’s an old saying: “The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth of the hole.”
Those few words, and the explanation which quickly filled behind it, were a reminder, a desperate grasping by my “inner truth” of who I am to find its way through the conscious everyday realities – norms, if you will – a reminder of the Life once lived where compensation (earnings) was directly linked to effort.
Creating Value for Value: Objective Reason in Motion!
By comparison, the “hourly wage” is the death-knell of every nation. Unless you’re also an Economist, you couldn’t begin to objectively disagree.
Observer in Action:
Case in point: You’re driving down the roadway and get stuck behind some slow moving city sanitation truck, some company’s maintenance vehicle, some plumber or carpenter’s truck…. Unless they’re already late to a scheduled appointment, the majority of those drivers are barely going the posted, allowable maximum speed [limit]. Quite often in fact, they are stumbling along 5-10mph below those posted speeds. …And why should they hurry? After all, they’re getting paid the same for driving as they are for working!
The human minds seeks the path of least resistance, and in this example, the path of least effort!
Think I’m wrong? Have you become, I mean really become “the Observer?” What else have you missed while yakking on your cell phone, or texting while driving??? You do realize – I hope – you’re driving the equivalent of a 1-ton+ BOMB!
I’m sorry. I’m not buying it; the President is not on the other end of your oh-so-important conversation!
(This is very personal to me, as I was nearly killed by someone who couldn’t get off the phone and pay attention to an oncoming motorcycle!)
Mark and Davene (our guides), Haanel, Wattles, Allen, Emerson, and so many other great thinkers were SPOT ON!
What was my affirming clue?
Honoring that smallest portion of my DMP, 30-minutes minimum of exercise everyday, I reached deep into my audio library, popped in the ear pieces, and loaded-up “As A Man Thinketh,” by James Allen.
OMGosh this stuff is good!
Why isn’t this stuff thought in schools, I wondered. (I know the answer, and if you do, or think you do, please feel free to comment.)
Now these works by James Allen are not actually part of the #MasterKeyExperience, but you really should give them a listen. For me, they were quite inspiring, and helped put me back on track for some other business activities I needed to both complete and initiate. These next few years are gong to be off the hook AWESOME!
You see, it’s quite easy when it comes right down to it, consider this:
- Perhaps you’re already successful, but would like to take it to the next level….
- Perhaps you’re not living the life of your dreams and are looking for that “one magical way” (or method, or magic formula – which doesn’t really exist!) to get you there….
- Perhaps you’ve arrived at whatever your chosen destination is, but you’ve not found your personal inner Peace….
It’s amazingly simple!
It’s right in front of you!
It begins with the #MasterKeyExperience !
I still have much work to accomplish, but doubt is a barely remembered word now! (Breaking my earlier rule and giving a glimpse ahead to Haanel, 24:30)” “[…] only those who are wise enough to understand, broad enough to weigh the evidence, firm enough to follow their own judgment, and strong enough to make the sacrifice exacted, may enter and partake.”)
For my fans, I must admit I’ve had some amazing FUN writing these last couple of posts. Finding the “fun” in what one does changes EVERYTHING!
Greetings fellow travelers! Between the phone ringing, 150+ emails every day, projects beginning, or in motion, or coming to a close, somehow I’ve managed to slip this week’s #MasterKey…
Greetings fellow travelers!
Between the phone ringing, 150+ emails every day, projects beginning, or in motion, or coming to a close, somehow I’ve managed to slip this week’s #MasterKeyExperience video into my routines. I’m not nearly finished viewing/listening to it yet but “Do it now!” raised its incessant voice and yelled at me to write, and to do so right now!
“Act now. There is never any time but now.” –Wallace Wattles
We’ve all heard such wise words before…and just as often dismissed them. The hustle and bustle of everyday life has not gotten any less busy, not in all the years I’ve occupied my particular bit of space on this planet. Worse yet, I’m neck deep in Technology, and I can promise you, life has not slowed with the advent of all the technologies designed to make our lives easier.
…So let’s begin dissecting my title for this Week-22 effort.
It seems there’s no end of knowledge attainable anywhere a person might decide to seek it. Libraries abound. Bookstores are in most cities – although in decline due to the Internet – and of course, the Internet.
For all this knowledge – and I’m no different than anyone else in the wealth of it acquired – the application and implementation of so much knowledge into our beings does not easily nor quickly manifest itself into readily applicable and beneficial form; Wisdom.
In the video selection for our #MKMMA training, Wallace Wattles brought up something else which gave me pause: “One does not help the poor by studying poverty.”
Slap in the face!
You see…, as I mentioned in a prior posting, I’m an Economist via formal Degree. Among the many things we studied, mathematically modeled, theorized, dissected and discussed, sought to prove (& disprove), there were the abundant theories of and surrounding “poverty.”
We studied the precise and analytical works of Adam Smith, the ill-founded, non-objective theories of John M. Keynes, and many others. Opinion-time. Oops! (If you recall my necessity for Objectivity noted in Week-21, you can then therefore understand my lack of appreciation for J. M. Keynes.)
In all the years of study, the brain-racking math, no amount of effort done before me, while I was in classes, and in the years since has halted poverty. President LbJ’s “War on Poverty” is an abysmal failure!
Poverty is a mindset. Why else would Wattles make several direct instructions to cease dwelling on it (among other topics)?
As part of the #MKMMA coursework – which I’m ever-so glad I decided to have embarked upon – among other things, we study wealth!
“Wealth,” you hesitate?
Isn’t “money the root of all evil?”
NO! NOPE!!! SORRY!!!!!
The love of money is the root of all evil!
Money is a merely “tool,” a medium of exchange, a tool for transactions agreed upon by various parties as having a discernible value, again, agreed upon by both parties.
To help the poor out of poverty requires of each of us to pursue wealth, to uplift not only our own situation, but to become an inspiration to others, to “know the way, go the way, and show the way.” (–John Maxwell)
In the opening to Part 22, Haanel states “[…] that thoughts are spiritual seeds, which when planted in the subconscious mind, have a tendency to sprout and grow, but unfortunately the fruit is frequently not to our liking.”
When I first saw this, and before watching the Wattles’ video, I recalled Napoleon Hill’s work, Think and Grow Rich. A friend, and part-time mentor had mentioned in recalling his own difficult upbringing that he was introduced to Hill’s work, and thought to himself when learning the title: “You mean all I have to do is think about it and I’ll get rich?”
At the time, I laughed at his simple interpretation….
Who got the last laugh!
Him. (He earns over $250k/month. I don’t. Not yet….)
But you see, Haanel and Hill, all link similar ideas to better ideals! In 22:7, Haanel reminds us of the Law of Repetition, reminding us to use “this power every minute,” “to use it intelligently and produce only desirable results.” “We can change the vibration and thus produce any condition which we desire to manifest in our bodies.” (22:6)
Not to put the cart before the horse, but in this monologue, order does matter. In (22:4), Haanel reminded me of my first catastrophic auto accident and what I had to both endure, and produce to manifest a proper recovery. Quoting: “If there is any physical condition which it is necessary to change, the law governing visualization will be found effective.” (Haanel, 22:4)
Without knowing any of these works existed, my mind had deduced a specific set of solutions, methods, and practices I could employ which would facilitate the healing necessary to rebound from the traumas of my accident. I truly did “hold it in the mind until it is absorbed by the consciousness.” (22:4)
Without knowing these principles, without knowing why, I knew what was necessary for me to do to accomplish healing. (It took me about 5 months to regain motor-mobility in my left eye, and just shy of 13 months to regain my senses of taste and smell.)
I didn’t know why, but my subconscious mind, my “subby” knew how to fix me.
Even before I learned to meditate, to “sit” as is part of this phenomenal coursework, my inner self knew what needed to happen and how to get there. “We know that every mental actions is a vibration, and we know that all form is simply a mode of emotion, a rate of vibration. Therefore, any given vibration immediately modifies every atom in the body.” (Haanel, 22:5) “The problem is to use it intelligently and produce only desirable results.” (22:7)
How did my inner consciousness know what my outer consciousness had never sought,
nor ever thought necessary to learn?
“All that is necessary is to consult our own experience.” (22:8)
Deep enough yet?
It gets better.
In 22:11, Haanel shares, “Let us see how the action of the subconscious mind over the body differs. You receive a wound; thousands of cells begin the work of healing at once; in a few days or weeks the work is complete.”
(22:12) “They are like and army of workmen, ready to start important an piece of work….”
(22:15) “Every cell in your body is intelligent (by Design) and will respond to your direction.”
(22:16) “Therefore, when the perfect images – in my case, healing – are placed before the subjective, the creative energies will build a perfect body.”
Although I survived significant trauma, my mind sought a solution, an answer to a problem beyond the scope of ordinary medical sciences, and in my thoughts, my mind created/caused a vibration (22:19), an alteration in the energy necessary for divinely-directed forces to take action. Healing I was not likely to have enjoyed was brought into reality.
All this #MKMMA work is really hard to put down!
Without having any of this knowledge, this wisdom passed down from decades before my own appearance in this world, the answers (from Source) were already within. “There can be no doubt that few patients are aware how much they can do for themselves.” (22:27)
I have lived this!
(22:29) “This realization and recognition of the Omnipresent power will quickly destroy any and every form of sickness and suffering and substitute harmony and perfection.” (Emphasis mine.)
I have lived this!
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew, 19:26, NIV)
All of the above (from Haanel & Wattles) is little more than knowledge until put into proper vibration, your vibration, your action(!) with the purpose of positive growth for both yourself and those you have, or may yet come into contact with. When that/your “vibration” becomes motion, it transforms into, or is inserted into our lives as Wisdom.
A parallel “wisdom” of the #MKMMA training is an action towards our fullest realizations, our ultimate potentials. The multiple learning methods, each harmonizing with the other…they work. (No matter how much of the “old me” resists – even now – it works!!!
What kind of thinking will you choose? What would the person you intend to become do next?

Greetings follow travelers.
Truth vs. Perception
While the closing instructions for the “sit” were to “concentrate on Truth,” as a concept, “Truth” was not the issue…not why this effort took so long to complete. Trust me, I’ll get this resolved, but my meandering may make your head swim!
Truth, Reason, Objectivity…these are concepts and ideas I pursue with all my being. As such, and with the approach of “tax season,” I decided to (carefully) venture into the realm or truth vs. perception (of truth).
Have any of you looked into the lie of the 16th Amendment?
I could make you so sick to your stomach you would vote your elected officials, those career do-nothings, out of office! But we’ll come back to that….
As a species, we have “evolved” to the point where we elect and appoint often the least-qualified people to determine our future. We’ve been conditioned to think incorrectly, and for some, seldom ever if that – ergo, Haanel’s invitation to you, to me, to everyone to THINK!
Am I negative? Cynical? Or, am I being objective, and choosing to stand apart from the ‘norms’ imposed upon myself and others…and THINK?
One of the great, and unanticipated side benefit of the #MasterKeyExperience is the quest for objective truth, both for yourself, for those you/we mastermind with, and for your broader community…your world at large.
In Haanel’s 21:28, in his instruction, he urges us to “[t]ry to comprehend the Omnipotence itself is absolute silence.”
Have you thought about this?
Really thought this through?
Consider this – assuming you were raised in a “western” religious ideology, in Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
If this is within your particular belief system, you’re probably okay with this. I’m not here to argue one way or another, or try to convince you of anything. Your beliefs – or lack thereof – aren’t going to alter my world.
Remember above: Truth? Reason? Objectivity? Let’s explore how this relates to what Haanel is saying:
- For “God to have “created the heavens and earth,” he would have to exist outside of that existence He created.
- Prior to that ‘creation moment’ would have been a void, an emptiness, a nothing …from which anything could be created.
- In that void, it’s implied there was no light. Confirmed in Genesis 1:3, “Let there be light.”
- There was only void. Light is energy. Sound is also energy. There was neither sound nor light.
- Thought is energy. Thought creates all else that follows. Everything originates with a thought, “…and what we think is created and produced in the objective world.” Haanel, 21-3)
- “Realize that the Silence offers and ever-available and almost unlimited opportunity for awakening the highest conception of Truth.” Haanel, 21:28
For something, a/your God (perhaps) to exist outside of emptiness, and from emptiness create anything, well that’s some pretty powerful, amazing stuff to think through…or a really well-crafted “story’ ….which has managed to remain intact for over 4,000 years!
For me, the matter’s solved, for all time. If you’ve read my Press Release, I mentioned my near death experience. In that experience I could only sense a void, for no other word fit the experience. No bright light, No tunnel. Just me and my Creator – when He decided to be present. Later, as I recovered for 21 days in ICU, I recalled another training I had, and from that I learned “when you get to nothing, anything is possible.” There’s more, but not for this forum….
I got it!
I got the power of Creation!
In your silence, your “sit,” hides Truth, your truth, awaiting discovery.
What government’s become:
The 30-day mental diet has been excruciating. I am highly sought after for my “opinion,” and as such, must stay current to the world we live in. Excruciating may be a mild word…!
Why is all this important? Remember from prior postings, I am craft a very unique story to describe a very powerful experience: the #MasterKeyExperience! #TheresNotingLikeIT!
It is the “thinking” most of us don’t do, the seeking of silence and solitude necessary to find the “truth” of our (your) world. All this falls under the
Law of Practice
We practice those things we think will be of benefit to ourselves, often without conscious consideration of separating and distinguishing short-term vs long-term ramifications. “The ability to eliminate imperfect conditions depends upon mental action….” (Haanel, 21:5)
Law of Substitution, DMP, Press Release
“Large ideas have a tendency to eliminate all smaller ideas so that it is well to hold ideas large enough to counteract and destroy all small or undesirable tendencies. (Haanel, 21:6)
Law of Substitution, & Law of Practice linked to..
30-day Mental Diet. Haanel links 21:13-14 together superbly. When we “change the [our] mental attitude,” we “create new pictures.” The bigger the picture, the bigger the “magnet” (Haanel 21:12), linked to positive emotional reinforcement, “like attracts like” [in the Universe], continuing “to hold the picture in the mind until results are obtained;” “they are the feeling which combines with thought and creates the irresistible magnetic power which draws the things required to you.” (Haanel, 21:16)
Now let me link some of this last section back to the opening. My past experiences with one overly abusive non-government “agency” which pretends to act as a government “agency” cause me to link together some downright serious emotions to my efforts to thwart the (I)diots (R)resenting (S)tan – one of the more common, and well-earned nicknames. Because the emotional outcomes could have been so severe should I have lost, I trusted in my abilities and visualized the ‘pain’ which would ensue should I not be successful.
Without going into all the details I won. I convinced the/their “judge” in their Court, under their “rules” that I was correct. The boys & girls making my life a living hell were “Ordered” to refund my money. (To this day, I’ve not seen one dime!) That’s right! Their rules, their Court, their Judge, and these @#%%&#$^$@^ people thumbed their nose at their own Judge.
Now…don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind paying taxes – those which are legal and lawful. Much of what your beliefs tell your (or fear does) is “lawful” is not. You will have to think, research, “mastermind,” and be willing to do what you’ve not done for most off your life. I choose truth. I choose life.
“I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man,
nor ask another man to live for mine.” –Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged
A few years ago, I had a realignment of my thinking processes. After years of fighting the boys & girls above-noted, I attended a workshop and met an African-American gentleman who rose from a difficult childhood and now earns roughly $300,ooo per month. His dream, his vision was so profound, his emotions so deeply encapsulated within the vision the success was the only reality acceptable.
A couple of years pass. I learn of another African-American who also rose from difficult circumstances. Since I lack permission to use his name herein, if you’ve heard the audio, or seen him live was earning about $800,000 every 17 days.
I was floored!
I was captivated. He had my attention!
What’s more, he made a declaration that “some day I’m gonna pay $1,000,000 in taxes!”
It suddenly dawned on me what kind of person I would have to become, what kind of leader, investor, coach, trainer, mentor – what ALL I would have to achieve just to hit such goals….but not alone.
You can’t reach the pinnacle of success unless you take others along for the ride!
…the challenge is what it has been for roughly the last 100 years, if not the last 4,000+ years. In 21:23-26 – and the primary reason I struggled so much with this section…we’re not supposed to give opinions. Inherent in such suppositions is: We’re not supposed to form opinions, therefore have nothing to react to, or be limited by (or because of).
My personal challenge is the political aspects of what Haanel describes in 23-26. It’s unavoidable and unmistakeable how “[t}he issue of the old regain and the new, the crux of the social problem is entirely a question of conviction in the minds of the people as to the nature of the Universe.” (emphasis mine)
The truth I saw was the purity of form manifest in Haanel’s declaration “the Divine Mind is the Universal Mind.” It “makes no exceptions to favor any individuals.”
The “truth” you must see is…
All you have to do is want it bad enough, believe in it strong enough, be willing and committed strong enough, and honor those wants beliefs, and commitment such that those dreams become your new reality!
